The Hydrology & Engineering Team comprises scientists from the University of Virginia, Indian Institute of Technology- Kanpur, and National Institute of Technology - Patna. Their work will focus on the flood-prone blocks of Darbhanga in Bihar, which lies within the Bagmati and Kamla sub-basins of the Kosi River Basin. 

 

Goal: To quantify present and future flood risks, and design infrastructure plans for increased flood resilience.
