Human Geographers

Comprising geographers and anthropologists from the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in France and University of Western Brittany, this team will use ethnographic methods, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions to identify key decision-makers, the process of decision-making, and the key limitations of our agents of change to better understand how communities deal with floods, what steps they take to address water access during floods, and what local solutions can be leveraged in resilience building.

Goal: To conduct qualitative fieldwork to understand the context and conduct a local needs assessment.
